Consumer Relations Supervisor

Contessa Premium Foods, a leader in the international seafood industry, has an immediate opening for a Consumer Relations Supervisor at our corporate office in San Pedro.

This newly created position is ideal for the go-getter type who will be challenged with creating structure and/or further developing the department.  The responsibilities include:Leading one consumer relations representative responsible for all incoming consumer correspondence via email, mail and/or telephone.  Audit calls for accuracy and quality control.  Handle all calls requesting Supervisor assistance and use good judgment in resolving such inquiries.  Handle the complete process of all Quality Assurance related inquiries.  Under the guidance of the QA Director you will investigate QA related comments by: ? Compiling all pertinent information ? Arranging lab analysis if necessary ? Constructing investigation ? Submitting report ? Follow-up with consumer ? Serve as liaison with internal departments as necessary.Maintain and further develop the Consumer Relations Desk Reference Manual and Standard Operating Procedures so that they are always current.Develop comprehensive monthly/annual reports charting consumer relations activity.

A qualified candidate will have the following:Bachelor?s Degree with an emphasis in Communications, English or Life Science preferred.2 years minimum experience in a supervisory role dealing with consumer relations, customer service and/or quality assurance issues in a food company.  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must have excellent people/customer service skills; positive demeanor, articulate, patient and capable of dealing with different personality types.Ability to develop/filter sophisticated reports on Excel and/or the given Consumer Relations Database system. REQUIRED:  Excellent follow through, action/results oriented, problem solver, excellent organizational skills, multi-tasker with good judgment.
