Customer Care Representative

Overall:
This position will provide support to the CEO and the organization in the administration facets of patents and trademarks, capital expenditures, contract review, and other administrative support. This position requires the candidate to have excellet interpersonal skills, a pro-active "can-do" attitude, and the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment that will demand him or her to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously for many departments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Company's IP portfolio which includes the management of a database, correspondence and communication with legal council, file maintenance, and monthly reconciliation with accounting department.
- Facilitating the capital expenditure process to include communication with project managers on status, weekly updates, and problem solving with users.
- Comprehend and execute contract and royalty agreements.
- General administrative & clerical support across our COF and CR processes.
- Assist team in administrative actions as needed.
- Continuous development and improvement of processes and policies.
- Draft basic correspondence and create access and excel tools for analysis and data storage.
Requirements:
- BS or BA Degree preferred or equivalent experience. Paralegal degree/experience accepted.
- Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience in a corporation, preferably manufacturing.
- Intellectual property background preferred but willingness to self-teach is required.
- Self-starter, highly organized and detail-oriented; enjoy working with and analyzing details.
- Ability to multitask; work independently, and prioritize responsibilities.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, spelling and English composition skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (advanced MS Word and MS Excel) and related programs. Professional letter with mail merge experience.
- Notary preferred.
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Pay Rate: $30,000 - $37,000 per year.
