Rresponsibilites:

 

Process request via-telephone from members, physicians and pharmacies for Prior Authorization Program. Enter prior authorizatioins into claims system. Work closely with other departments with-in the organization to resolve member and processing issues. Participate in creating reports demonstrating various aspects of the program.

 

Qualifications:

 
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent Customer service skills
Working knowledge of pharmacy process and flow a plus.
Ability to work independently and multi-task.
Must be able to work flexible schedules ( lst & 2nd shifts)
No Felonies and Drug Free

 

Possible growth into permanent position:  Pharmacy Tech Certification desired but not required. Certification is required within the first 12 months in position.
