Customer Care Specialist (Yakima)

The Customer Care Specialist will be responsible for answering inbound calls from customers, responding to e-mail from customers, helping customers be more successful with HouseValues, educate and coach customers on best practices for using our system, assist internal sales team, place outbound calls to customers to walk them through the HouseValues system, including answering technical support questions.

 

Responsibilities

 Listen to customer's concerns and questions and respond accordingly on the phone. Write professional responses to agent e-mails using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Use prewritten templates, when appropriate. Take ownership of agent questions and ensure 100% satisfaction with every customer. Assess technical issues and identify solutions for agents. Maintain functional knowledge of HouseValues Agent Tools system, consumer web sites and any additional products and features added. Efficiently respond to agent phone inquiries and e-mails at all times. Maintain composure during challenging situations. Represent HouseValues in a very professional manner. Be passionate about the success of every customer. Overtime work as necessary and some weekend shifts. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area (OR) Requires a bachelor's degree and intermediate technical support knowledge. Bachelor's degree preferred. Intermediate technical knowledge must include: Internet, Browsers, Firewalls, Anti-virus, Cookies, E-mail, MS Excel and MS Word, and Windows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have patience and tact. Must have and maintain positive attitude. Must be flexible and adaptable to change. Knowledge of real estate a plus.
