Position Description:

Processes Advertising Orders:
? Ensures all pertinent advertising order information is input and processed accurately prior to close dates
--Enters, maintains, processes and updates computerized database file with client information for advertising space, space information/adjustments, special instructions and ancillary product sales for assigned publications
--Maintains flow of orders with Production Department
--Responds to customer inquiries regarding invoice
? Maintains sales territory information accurately in system to ensure commissions are tracked and paid correctly through order entry and Publisher?s Workbench programs
? Finalizes and closes magazine issues with all sales staff
--Finalizes billing information and submits to Billing Group for invoicing
Provide customer service to customers/agencies:
? Communicates with agencies/clients and sales people regarding rates, schedules, and insertion orders.
--Verifies rates in accordance with respective rate cards and/or current discount programs
Provide periodic database reports and other advertiser information to internal customers:
? Produces month end billing report
? Adjusts invoices as requested by Publisher or as dictated by circumstances
? Researches credit issues
--Provides documentation to credit department
--Ensures all errors in invoices are identified and corrected in a timely fashion


Qualifications:

Responsible for order entry, maintaining an accurate database and its related activities for assigned publication(s).
Qualifications
3-5 years of Office experience. Understanding of magazine manufacturing helpful. Previous customer service experience. A strong accounting background preferred
This position requires the managing multiple deadlines.
