Customer Insurance Associate

The purpose of the department is to service and sales to customers including inbound/outbound calls, electronic claims processing, agency management, mail & fax transactions.  The scope of this job is being responsible for answering basic customer inquires, resolving service concerns, supporting customers with initial loss reports, and selling Property and Casualty products to new and existing agency clientele.  The position is located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional service to customers in order to meet agency's customer service & satisfaction goals/requirements.

2. Selling P&C products to new and existing clientele. Assisting Allstate Agent with all sales transactions.

3. Resolve routine questions/issues that do not require a 220 or 440 licenses and refer other inquiries to appropriate areas as required.

4. Actively listen to customer issues, questions, and concerns. Demonstrating empathy and compassion and follow established service procedures.

5. Respond to telephone and in-person contact relating to billing inquiries, payment processing, and minor endorsement handling.

1. Intermediate - Computer

2. Advanced - Customer Service Skills

3. Intermediate - Organizational Skills

 

Experience Required:

-Customer Service Experience

-Prior Insurance Experience Preferred

 

Computer Proficiency:

-Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet

 

Education:

-High School or Equivalent  - Preferred, Major preference:  Open
