We have an outstanding opportunity for a Customer Service Manager at our Muscle Shoals, Alabama facility.  This position is responsible for managing a gas and welding retail sales location and providing related customer service and distribution functions.  If you are looking for an opportunity to provide outstanding customer service at a company with an outstanding reputation as an employer, this may be the role for you.

 

Responsibilities Include:

?  Manage the day to day operations the branch including safety, inside sales, and training, in collaboration with Sales, Production, and Distribution

?  Responsible for accounts receivable and collection, inventory levels, and delivery service

 

Requirements & Competencies:

?  High School Diploma or GED required; College degree helpful

?  Must have experience in the range of three (3) to five (5) years in a similar position in industrial distribution

?  Candidates with prior experience in the welding/gas/supplies industry will be given priority consideration

?  SAP experience preferred

?  Demonstrated planning skills and outstanding personal relationship skills.

?  The successful candidate takes ownership and creates solutions and enjoys working ?hands-on? in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

?  Must demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate directly and honestly

?  Is a role model for expected performance on the job.

?  A sales background with strong negotiation skills is preferred.

?  Must be a self-starter who is driven by sales and distribution success.
