Overview of responsibilities:Answers incoming calls and service questions. Enters customer and account data by inputting alpha-numeric information in on-line order-entry system. Initiates service by recording information; providing options and recommendations to customers. Makes out-bound calls as required to communicate with customers, agents and airline personnel. Dispatches agents to facilitate services; monitors vendor performance to completion of service orders. Maintains operations by adhering to company policies and procedures. Participates in shift meetings to achieve the overall mission of the organization. Performs other associated tasks as required by supervisor or manager.

 

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be responsible for handling multiple, time-sensitive tasks while producing high-quality, detailed work.  Job requires excellent phone etiquette, customer service and interpersonal skills.  Intermediate to advanced keyboard and computer skills with experience in on-line systems required.  Previous air freight, airline or transportation dispatch experience preferred.
