Call Center/Customer Service Representatives

Duties and Responsibilities

Communicate with subscribers and company representatives to assist and resolve inquiries or problems in a manner consistent with Cablevision?s policies and procedures. Possess a basic level of understanding of all phases and aspects of the customer billing system, including the ability to interpret and explain to the customer information contained within the system. Command thorough knowledge of all programming offered to customers, including but not limited to programming content, pricing, packaging, and channel lineup, as well as technical components and features of the cable system(s) and company equipment.
Identify, resolve and/or refer to the appropriate personnel any customer service issues that may arise.
Access and input information on the PC. Create reports using Cable Data.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks.

 


Qualifications

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent.

*Microsoft PC skills*
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
Prior computer and Internet experience.
Preferred:
Previous customer service experience
