Customer Service - Order Control Manager

Standard Register?s Shelbyville Indiana Plant is seeking an Order control Manager.  Shelbyville is a community 30 miles South East of Indianapolis.  The Shelbyville facility is part of the Document Label Solutions Division and provides printing of high quality, secure documents such as check printing, government documents, order forms etc.  This position offers a pleasant working environment, corporate advancement opportunities and an excellent compensation package.

Responsibilities Include:Responsible for scheduling, planning and expediting of orders to achieve the most efficient processing through production and to maintain optimum delivery performance.  This includes involvement in subcontracting, working with our sales team and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction.Responsible for leading the accurate preparation of pre-production work and the coordination of all related materials to meet our customers needs.Act as a visionary and change agent to translate our business needs into continuous improvement action.Lead and develop a staff of 18+/- professionals, including order control, customer service, pre-production preparation and information system administration.Proactively maintains facilities commitment to superior customer service.Communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers relating to various customer issues.Ensure associates and leadership are aware and resolving any issues that jeopardize customer satisfaction.  Work to remove these obstacles and keep the customers representative lines of communication open.Function as key member of plant leadership team.

Qualifications

? Bachelors degree in business or related field, Masters degree a plus

 

? Minimum of three years of progressive experience in Customer Service/Order Control Management.

 

? Must have advanced knowledge of computer applications and basic programming.

 

? Preferred knowledge of the printing industry

 

?   Occasionally brief travel is required.
