Customer Service Rep - Accounts Receivable
Fast growing, regional bottled water company. We are one of the biggest bottled water companies in the Washington DC area with a very strong brand name and brand awareness - DrinkMore Water!! We've also won all sorts of business ethics awards, business excellence awards, and socially responsible community involvement awards.
We have a great combination of people - from route drivers who deliver our products to our customer service people who talk to all of our customers to our production team that bottles all of our product. We have fun as a group and what's not to like ? we have healthy products to sell ? from the best bottled water in the world to water coolers to very cool custom-labeled bottled water (we do custom labels for NASA, the U.S. Senate, the president?s Cup golf tournament, etc.) We're getting ready to begin providing coffee service as well.
We're looking for a special person to join our Customer Service Team. First of all, you have to be an "A-Team" type of person. What that means is that you're looking for an opportunity in which to excel. If you like talking to customers and working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment, that's exactly what our office is like. People in our office are happy, fun and positive.
We promise our customers that we will provide them with Outstanding Customer Service and that's what we do every single day.
In order to for to qualify to join our team, you have to meet several requirements. First, you absolutely must have a positive attitude and a fun/happy disposition! No exceptions!!!! Second, you must have direct experience in the customer service function - that means if you haven't spent time talking to customers before, you'd better have a great speech prepared as to why you think we should hire you for this position. Third, you must be excellent with numbers, accurate and precise, and be able to talk to customers while working on the computer (looking at the customer's info). This requires strong multi-tasking skills - plain and simple. If you get frustrated when you have to do two things at once, this job isn't for you. If you aren't good with numbers, this job isn't for you. If you don't talk on the phone with a happy, positive voice, this job isn't for you. If you tend to make careless mistakes, this job definitely isn't for you. If you think customers are generally a hassle, this job is not for you.
BUT - if you can do all those things - and if you enjoy doing those things in a professional but casual atmosphere (we almost always wear khaki shorts and collared shirts & T-shirts in the summer!), then we could be what you've always been looking for.
We care about our customers a great deal and we're looking for people who LIKE to talk to people/customers!!!!! Our mission is to provide our customers with truly outstanding customer service and you have to be a happy person to do that.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
* Talking to customers on the phone!! We get lots of calls everyday from our customers. Since we deliver to our customers every month, they frequently call us to modify their standard order, they call us with credit card info, they call us and ask for extra items, they call us if they have a question about a bill or delivery, they call us to tell us they love us, they call us to refer their friends, etc. Bottom- line - they call us! So talking to our customers to help them with whatever they need help with - that's a major responsibility of everyone in the office!
* As part of the Customer Service Team, you have to be good and accurate at entering data into the computer. You have to be able to talk and type at the same time!! You have to be accurate - again, careless mistakes are time-consuming and costly. If you aren't a detail oriented person, then this job is not for you.
* Accounts receivable knowledge and experience is very helpful. If you've worked in a customer service capacity, you've probably done accounts receivable. * You really have to enjoy being a part of a fast-paced, fun and friendly office. We are very much of a family oriented company. Our boss - Bob Perini - is in the office every day and is absolutely great to work for.
Starting time between 7:00AM and 10AM depending upon your situation and our needs.
No Saturdays.

REQUIREMENTS
For our company, it's important that you not have to commute a long way to work. Long commutes make for unhappy people - so if you live in an area that is more than 25-35 minutes away from Gaithersburg, we probably won't be interested in your resume.
