First American eAppraiseIT, a subsidiary of First American Corporation and a leading provider of real estate valuation services, is offering the following career opportunity for highly motivated individuals in the Operations Department:

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

   

 

Key duties and responsibilities include:

 

?  Receive, assign and invoice all appraisals in compliance with established Policies and Procedures.

?  Schedule assignments to both staff and fee appraisers.

?  Coordinate and resolve client?s request for information both during the order process and after completion of the assignment.

?  Maintain an acceptable level of currency in specific geographic areas through the use of reports and system queues.

?  Maintain appropriate history notes.

 

Skills and experience:

 

?  High school diploma or equivalent

?  Customer service experience required, mortgage experience preferred

?  Excellent listening and verbal communication skills to exchange information, supply advice, use courtesy and tact, make judgments, and influence appraisers to supply crucial data

?  Working knowledge of basic office equipment

?  Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and complete duties in an efficient and proactive manner while utilizing multitasking abilities.

?  Ability to work independently in a Windows 2000/XP environment.

?  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

?  Effective telephone communication skills

?  Strong PC skills

?  Outstanding interpersonal skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels of customer contacts and internal personnel.
