Customer Service Rep / Shipping

Possis Medical Inc., a medical device manufacturer pioneering in thrombectomy is seeking a Customer Service Rep / Shipping Assoc.  Under minimal  supervision, this position performs customer service duties for all product lines and distributed globally.  Serves as the liaison to external AngioJet and vascular graft customers/distributors, as well as internal customers (field sales representatives and clinical specialists).  Interacts daily with employees from the following departments:  shipping, finance, regulatory and clinical affairs, sales and marketing, and receiving. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives and processes external/internal customer orders for product, marketing literature and product promotional materials.

 

Assists customers purchasing agents in identifying the right product, determining pricing, scheduling delivery and shipment mode, and any special needs that may arise. Processes customer order, maintains customer database in FourthShift, adds new customer accounts.  Works with internal shipping department to verify product availability and delivery requests. Follows up on orders daily to ensure customer needs have been fulfilled and ensures orders have been closed out properly.  Conducts shipment traces when notified of a non-delivery, incomplete receipt, product shipped in error, shortage/overage, etc. and works with shipping department to resolve the issue.Receives informal customer calls regarding pricing and product knowledge and tries to initiate contact with the appropriate sales representative

 

Customer contact for returned goods, RGA #s, and follow-up/resolution of

open RGAs.  Prepares credit vouchers for returned/defective product per

RGAs and forwards to finance dept. for payment.

 

 Administers sales force trunk stock inventories of disposable product and

drive units. Ensures that trunk stock inventory does not remain in the field

following expiration. Updates inventory records as sales force makes

adjustments to their trunk stock.

 

Maintains and distributes sales reports and status reports of the various sales

programs offered to customers.

 

Executes activities related primarily to shipment of all PMI customer orders,

product samples, marketing literature, and outside correspondence.  Release

from quarantine and then package and label all PMI manufactured products

per  controlled processes.  Maintain and organize inventory of all Finished

and Quarantined Goods and related packaging and shipping supplies.

 

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.  Prefer Associates degree in business or other related field.  Two to four years customer service involving direct contact with customer and all associated documentation.  Prefer experience within the medical device industry under FDA regulated environment.
