Customer Service Representative/Dispatching

Position receives stranded motorists' calls (within a Call Center environment), records and documents member requests for emergency road service into the computer and communicates to the member estimated time of service The Call Center environment can be a fast- paced environment based on changes in weather conditions and time of year. Receiving of calls is an automated system; therefore, calls are forward to Service Counselors continually. Quality member service and efficiency of response time is essential. Dispatching assistance to stranded motorist are performed through a computerized dispatch system. Position will also resolve member concerns and /or counsel members on Automobile Club policy, procedures and benefits as needed.

Requirements: Candidates must possess the desire to be the best in Customer Service, offer superb telephone etiquette, and have solid vocabulary and math skills. Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication a must. Basic computer skills and 30 wpm keyboarding is required. High School diploma or GED required. Demonstrated customer service work experience is necessary. The Call Center is a 24 hour/7day per week operation, therefore, candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays. Shifts include day and swing. A paid 17 day training is mandatory.

? Dispatch Service Specialist: Dispatch member requests for roadside assistance via computer or telephone within the local Club territory.
