Customer Service Representative - Marketing
Duties Include:
Answering customer inquiries via telephone and email
Dealing with customers regarding: new customer sign-ups, general customer inquiries, existing accounts, billing, shipping and receiving and cancellations
Generating outgoing calls to follow-up with customers when necessary
Maintaining accurate records of all calls and customer accounts using in-house software
Using various computer software including: MS Outlook, using in-house email program, customer database, Internet/Web browsers
Maintaining good customer relationships by responding to customers with patience and courtesy
Meeting performance standards as it pertains to: quality, productivity, attendance/punctuality and other call center measures
Hours: Mon-Fri 10:30 AM-7 PM and Sat & Sun 6:00 AM-2:30 PM.
Candidates need to be flexible to work any shift required including weekends and/or OT as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
One year of previous customer service experience (call center, telesales or telemarketing environment)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good spelling, articulation and grammar
Computer literacy: email, internet navigation, minimum 40 wpm
Excellent problem solving ability
Willingness to work overtime
Good attendance/punctuality record
Strong time management skills (ability to multi-task)
Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic ? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Accuracy and attention to detail ?
Candidates must be resourceful and have excellent problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility. Must have a ?can do? attitude with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the operations. Excellent working relationship/communication skills with employees and ability to recognize issues and react quickly, alerting appropriate staff or correcting the problem.
PLUS: Experience with E-Commerce, retail or consumer goods Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
