Customer Service Specialist

Position Summary: The Air Quality Instruments (AQI) business unit is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide general office support in all phases of customer service at the East Greenbush, NY facility. We are searching for a dependable, detail-oriented, energetic team player to be part of our customer-dedicated, professional team.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
? Routing of incoming faxes and e-mails to proper sales/marketing channels
? Review and modify orders upon receipt and initiate order processing cycle
? Resolve order issues with customers regarding pricing, availability, terms, delivery, etc.
? Perform sales quotations fulfillment, filing and faxing
? Sales lead coordination
? Basic customer service functions

Other Job Requirements:
? Achieve basic knowledge of product portfolio
? Ability to perform specialized tasks on an as-needed basis



Educational Qualifications:

? Two-year college degree is desirable, but not required

Experience Qualifications:

? 1-4 years experience in Customer Service or related customer contact
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contact management/database software
? Must be detail oriented and possess strong teamwork skills
? Able to perform in a mulit-tasking environment
? Practical Process Improvement (PPI) training, or other practical improvement training experience such as six sigma, preferred
