Customer Service Specialist

Position Profile Provide support to customers with regard to orders, shipments, and billings. Act as liaison between customers and sales and accounts receivable to resolve product status, production, delivery and billing inquiries. Inventory management and product allocation will be communicated and managed for orders received. Resolves order processing and customer issues.

 

Accept, process and fill orders, shipments and billings for customers and confirm pricing as required.

Notify customers of back order or allocation situation so the field can manage their customers.

Assist the field with the use of short dated product to limit scrap.

Initiate credits with appropriate paperwork as required.

Provide sales, billing and distribution information as required by the field.

Propose changes for current systems to enable efficiency.

Investigates customer issues and works to resolve appropriately.

 

Position Qualifications H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 4+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination. Two-year degree or some college credits preferred.

Additional Information Additional minimum requirements: unique to this position: Customer Service/Call Center experiencePreferred qualifications: SAP and Excel experience
