Parker Services is searching for a Patient Service Supervisor for a heathcare organization in Seattle.

The candidate will be supervising all Patient Service Representatives (phone attendants), providing leadership and support for staff in day-to-day operations of telephone services, appointment scheduling, message taking, and phone transfers. Promotes service excellence and fosters team work; maximizes financial returns for clinic (standardizes processes, reduces errors). The Supervisor of Customer Service works in collaboration with the Vice President of Marketing and Clinic Management Teams to ensure excellent customer service, and standardized customer service, scheduling, and communication process within the Pacific Medical Clinics that are effective and efficient.
Is responsible for establishing and meeting benchmarks/goals. Responsible for on-going Customer Service Training for Staff. The Customer Service Supervisor will work with new phone attendants to ensure proper training. Works under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing.

Requirements:
*Bachelor??s degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent work experience.
*Minimum one year experience as business office lead in a Multi-discipline Specialty Clinic, or comparable position.
*Good understanding of patient accounting activities for professional billing including registration, insurance regulations, financial counseling, cash collections, billing cycles, and collection activities.
*Working understanding of Managed Care Plan principles, indemnity insurers, and government insured.
*Strong Customer Service focus.
*Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clinical practice teams to resolve business process issues and customer complaints.
*Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate staff.
*Ability to interact in a professional manner, and maintain patient confidentiality.
*Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate well (in both verbal and written formats) with patients, staff, and providers.
*Ability to attend to details, prioritize work and complete multiple tasks independently.
