Customer Service Support Rep (068783)

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Provide accurate information to calls and process correspondence received from patients who are inquiring or have questions about their laboratory invoices.

Be able to work 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. M-F with occasional overtime.

Prior experience in medical billing and a call center a plus.

Must be detail oriented and able to meet production requirements while multi-tasking.

Stable work history.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.

Machine: Calculator, personal computer.

Physical Demands: Speech clarity, repetitive motions-making frequent movements with fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one?s feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping, or otherwise working with hands.

Vision Requirements: Able to pass standardized color-vision test, as required by tests performed.

License/Certification/Education: Normally H.S. Diploma or equivalent w/1-3 years of applicable experience.
