Customer Service - Tier II

Coinstar is looking for a Customer Service Rep!

Role & Responsibilities:
This person contributes to Coinstar's success by:
Provides advanced customer service and support to retail and end-user customers. Provides secondary call response to escalated customer enquires regarding retail sales processes, product information, POSA terminal operation; documents and escalates issues requiring additional action.

Summary of key responsibilities:
Responds to customer calls not resolved by Tier I Support resource.
Interfaces with inter-company resources to resolve customer requests.
Provides technical troubleshooting associated with POSA terminal operation and service.
Maintains a good working knowledge to the companies products and technologies.
Oversees Tier I resources and provides mentoring and training to improve Tier I efficiency and service levels.
Oversees customer boarding and account registration activities.
Processes customer orders for POSA and non POSA products and materials.
Provides account management services for independent and small chain customers not assigned to an E-Pay Account Manager.
Conducts outbound customer service calls to maintain products inventories, Point-of-Sale materials, special initiatives and general customer satisfaction.
Documents issues requiring further action and communicates those actions in writing to the responsible parties.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Degree or GED - Required
College, field of study - Preferred

Preferable Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years customer service experience.

Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Effective communication and basic instructional skills.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer service issues.
Basic knowledge in the use of a multi line telephone system.
Basic keyboard and computer operation skills.
Working knowledge of e-mail and word processing applications.
Working knowledge of POSA terminal operation.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good working knowledge of E-Pay products and services offering.
Must be flexible and customer service orientated.
Minimal physical activity. Requires uninterrupted use of ADP and telephone equipment for extended periods of time.
