Customer Service and Sales Rep (Service to Sales) - 8/28/06

As a Financial Service Advisor, you will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and recognizing sales opportunities in an incoming call center environment. You will provide personalized service (telephone and/or written) to meet or exceed clients' time and quality expectations. Advisors execute transactions promptly and accurately respond to client requests and inquiries. To meet these demands, you will focus on understanding the firm's service policies, systems and legal compliance regulations, as well as, our products and services. Upon completing the customer's service request, you will then transition the conversation to offer additional benefits, services, and products for their Chase Visa or MasterCard account.  You are passionate about providing quality customer service and enjoy working in a sales-focused environment.  As a FSA, you play a key role in helping Chase retain and grow our business through your ability to up-sell and cross-sell our products and services. You are results oriented and enjoy the challenge of meeting or exceeding your sales goals and being rewarded for it through an excellent incentive plan.





At least one year of customer service, call center, or banking experience


At least six months of cross-selling/up-selling or telesales experience preferred


Excellent communication skills, both written and oral


Must be very willing to work in an environment that requires heavy phone-based customer interaction (up to 85%)


Strong interpersonal skills; professional, courteous, friendly, and empathetic


Ability to use basic business mathematics, including percentages, decimals and the application of basic formulas


Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make swift, sound judgments


Ability to positively adjust to a rapidly changing environment 


Basic computing skills, including mouse usage, keyboard usage, and proficiency in launching applications and maneuvering in a Windows based environment
