Customer/Shop Coordinator- Geared Products Group

Duties & Responsibilities Perform liaison duties to expedite orders for products to meet pre-established scheduled shipping dates.
Coordinate flow of material from source through machining and other production operations and/or assembly when required.  Personally trace missing and/or locate delayed parts.
Keep supervisor informed on a daily basis as to general status of product line and request assistance when required in the movement of material.  Communicate with Shop Supervision to avoid bottlenecks when discovered. 
Utilize various computer-generated reports, as well as mainframe information to establish methods and improve current processes in performance of duties. 
Inform related departments of potential problems that become evident in the course of daily perusal of assigned product lines.
Work closely with trackers and dispatchers when evaluating the status of a given order, and when responding to requests to improve delivery as well as notifying Sales Expediting of delays.  Requirements
Two years of college or trade school or two + years of related experience.  Knowledge of shop operations and Falk products and processes is preferred. 
A good candidate will be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments under normal and high stress situations. 
This position requires a self-starter with an aggressive approach to meeting internal and external customer requirements. 
Mainframe and PC skills required.  Ability to type and process information at a high rate is preferred.
Must be high energy and able to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
Resourcefulness and advanced problem solving abilities are required.
Must be willing to work weekly and weekend overtime as required.
