POSITION PURPOSE:

Develop and monitor all Direct Ship Customers on all aspects of forecasting order, delivery, and redistribution components, concentrating on Convenient Availability customers @$200,000,000. Manage customer purchase orders through the complete order, delivery and billing processes. This position demands involvement in every aspect of Club, and Surge Volume of Direct Ship Programs as we strive to grow sales and provide multi-dimensional service to customers in all channels. This position requires dedication to continuous improvement, through development of enhanced processes and procedures, specifically pertaining to the functionality of the Direct Ship Program. Direct involvement with our Field Sales Force, Account Buyers, Production Plants, Distribution, Supply Chain, Customer Supply/Warehouse and Corporate Staff concerning ongoing programs is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES/WORK ACTIVITIES
Direct Ship Sales
Coordinate, analyze, and implement all aspects of the Direct Ship Pallet Program and Convenient Availability Direct Ship Programs.
Administer orders for direct shipments. Accept, review and input customer orders for direct shipment.
Develop order viability and shipment detail by reviewing purchase orders for accurate information to include allowances, price reductions. Drive compliance by direct communication with direct ship customers.
Analyze and provide recommendations for enhancements/improvements based on statistical analysis of order, forecast and shipment trends.
Forecast and communicate product and material supply needs to Supply Chain and production facilities based on S&OP process.
Customer Service
Create and distribute communication on direct ship programs to Field and Corporate Leadership Team with recommendations for solutions to sales objectives.
Resolve pending customer Purchase Order appointments and deliveries.
Resolve Field Sales Force and Customer issues involving direct shipments.
Coordinate with PF Billing Department to resolve SDA settlement statement/commission credit issues. Initiate SDA settlement statement/commission credit with Billing Department.
Initiate with PF Accounts Receivable Department to resolve customer billing.
Create and update Customer Service Scorecard.
Co-manage with customer Sams VMI Program to insure achievement of joint volume objectives.
Daily Order Population & System
Extensive use of SAP and PFISH, to process all orders and credits. Analyze and reconcile discrepancies.

Education & Experience
Required Education: BS/BA in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years Customer Service experience required.


Qualifications
Excellent problem solving capability; excellent negotiation skills
Knowledge in SAP and PFISH (internal Sales tracking system) desired
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Superior communication skills via phone and email
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel (PowerPoint, Word, and MS Access Experience a plus)
