Customer Support/Service Engineer

Customer Service and Support Engineer (CS&SE) is responsible for sitting on the customer support desk, fielding customer calls, logging their issues and assigning a priority level, diagnosing the customer’s issue, and applying code fixes (bug fixes) if required. The CS&SE will cover support calls for all product lines (note that the volume of calls is not heavy but the nature of our customer’s issues may require significant time to research and diagnose). Ensure that each support call is logged into the issue tracking system and assigned a priority according to our defined priority levels. Troubleshoot the customer’s issue and develop options for resolution (i.e., work around, code fix, product enhancement, etc.). If required, edit code to remedy the issue. If coding is required, the CS&SE will ensure that development standards are followed. In addition, the CS&SE will be meticulous about maintaining backup copies of the customer’s production application and unit testing any fixes before they move to QA for System Testing. The CS&SE will ensure that all steps in the issue log and issue fix life cycle are not compromised and fully documented. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction when a customer’s application is deployed. Demonstrate the ability to successfully multi-task and perform at a high level on multiple customer issues at one time.All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Qualifications :
Strong customer service experience with basic .NET experience.
