NATURE OF THE ROLE:
LFA Producer Services is responsible for building partnerships and establishing records, paying compensation and capturing information in regard to sales authorization, NASD/securities registrations, honors recognition & reporting and compensation, inclusive of tax reporting and benefit options/plans. We must collaborate with employees from other processes and Profit Center organizations to meet the needs for LFA Planners and Brokers, while servicing a complex and diverse distribution channel with challenging sales relationships.
As part of the leadership team for LFA and Producer Services, translates vision, strategies, values and customer expectations into specific actions necessary within assigned processes to achieve operational plans for benefit of the customer. Directs Managers, Operational Technical Support and Production operations. Facilitates discussion in resolution of problems through effective leadership, synthesizing, clarifying and directing.
This role is a principal player in building sound relationships with LFG affiliates regarding sales authorization and compensation for a wide variety of distribution channels, functions and producer services. The major objective is to meet the needs of the distribution channel while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations while ensuring consistency in the delivery of services customized to meet the objectives of the distribution channels. This role is the secondary leadership position for Producers Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs the activities of a high volume organization responsible for work distribution, insurance licensing, contracting, securities registration, compensation, financing, awards and recognition, benefits for multiple distribution channel(s), which require unique needs are within multiple producer service locations.
- Develops service processes to meet unique needs while maintaining cost effectiveness, within budgeted expense management goals, and achieves compliance with state federal regulations.
- Understands and evalutes client service needs associated with enterpise wide objectives. Understands and identified business, economic and regulatory trends as well as strategies of competitors in order to proactively optimise service effeciencies and opportunities. Leads development of strategic vision for Producer Services and creation of service strategies and plans on short, intermediate and long-term basis.
- Effectively leads to establish team goals, priorities, decision making processes and allocation of resources. Directs managers and production operations to achieve individual and team goals. Leads by demonstrating strategic and visionary goals and facilitiates effective process performance resolution of issues.
- Leads implementation pf Producer Service strategy with associates in multiple LFG organizations and locations. Provides leadership in developing services to respond to customer needs. Shares accountability for process management and integration with other processes where there are linkages and shared responsibility for servicing the customer.
- Developes, maintains and maximizes strong business relationships with all strategic alliances. Proactively assesses key customer relatioships and develops tactical projects to strengthen relationships while understanding the unique needs associated with the alliances. Focus is of a service mind set.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Associates or Bachelors degree in business related subject highly desirable.
o Demonstrated skills and experience as could be gained with 8-10 years managing complex diverse organizations.
Licenses & Certifications:
o Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations and contractual obligations.
o Society of Insurance License Administrators Associate or Fellow (SILAA or SILAF), highly desired.
o Industry certification highly desirable to include FLMI, ACS, AIAA, AIRC.
o Currently or able to obtain state insurance licenses (life, accident/health, variable contracts) to act as company officer for LFA and affiliate agency licensing.
Requirements:
o Demonstrated strategic and tactical project mangement experience to include oversight, interactive involvement and coordination skills as gained with 5- 7 years in a project leadership role.
o Experience in organization structure, strategy formation, long-term planning, continuous improvement in a high volume work environment.
o Strong knowledge of Producer Services business and technology processing activities; knowledge of customer business activities, regulatory compliance issues and associated interdependencies.
o Strong relationship management experience to identify solutions to business problems. Strong understanding of culture and cahracturistics of multiple distribution channels to identify solutions.
