Dispatch /Customer Service Technicians

Due to exceptional growth, we are looking for dispatch technicians in our Burbank, CA office who can assist us in our goal of achieving total customer satisfaction. 

 

This position reports directly to the Dispatch Manager.  This position is responsible providing communications and support for dispatch services and problem solving between the company and assigned customers.  A tremendous emphasis is placed on follow through and a positive, up-beat attitude. Your ability to work effectively under pressure is a must.

 

Critical responsibilities:

 

? Under limited direction, performs activities associated with maintaining communication and problem solving between external customers and DirectSat USA.

? Under limited direction, researches and resolves customer problems and needs.

? Under limited direction, completes required forms as directed.

Under limited direction, analyzes customer problems and prepare reports and problem logs as requested.

Under limited direction, develops and maintain relations with the assigned customers to monitor satisfaction and resolve and avoid problems.

 

 

Education/Work Experience:

Education: High School or GED.

 

Job Related Experience: One- two years general office experience including phone work. Must be able to make decisions and resolve problems using experience and professional judgement.

 

Physical Requirements:  Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

 

Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process, with a working knowledge of the organization and an intermediate level of technical skills required to complete assignments. Strong organizational and communications skills.  Must be able to work under pressure.
