Dispatcher / Service Coordinator

Established 60-year HVAC / Refrigeration Company located in Baltimore MD has immediate opening for an experienced dispatcher/ billing clerk.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3- 5 years experience with dispatching in the Baltimore metropolitan region a must. Should be familiar with major routes in and around the Baltimore region. Must be capable of reading city and county maps and relaying directions quickly and accurately via two-way radio. Should be familiar with HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Familiarity with our parts inventory a plus but not required. Individuals applying should have experience using a calculator and computer programs, i.e. Windows 98, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with FACS program a plus but not required. Must be capable of multitasking. Must have enhanced and calm communications skills with customers as well as in-house personnel. Excellent organizational skills are required for proper tracking.



JOB DUTIES:

Individual selected will receive calls daily from our customers and record calls in our database. Will then be responsible to dispatch calls to service technicians in order of priority. Will be required to review technician?s invoices and order parts as needed. Will need to follow detailed tracking system on parts orders. Must work closely with accounting department and learn billing procedure for customer invoicing. Position reports to Operations Manager. Position hours are from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
