Diebold Election Systems has openings for Election Support Specialists to be located in our Allen, TX office and Florida.

 

The Election Support Specialist will assist with ensuring all hardware, software, and peripherals are tested and configured to the customer’s satisfaction.  The specialist will assist with set-up and training of poll workers prior to election day.  Includes assisting teams while providing hardware and software support to ensure that established cost, time, quality, and customer satisfaction goals are met.  Other responsibilities include:Assist with providing hardware, software, and election day support to customers. Assists with unit testing preparations and execution. Assists in identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content. Thorough knowledge of all hardware, as well as shelf and proprietary software related to the preparation of elections and the management of the election files. Assist in providing training to customers in developing their own ballots using proprietary software. Tremendous amount of phone support with customers. Gaining knowledge of individual state laws. Obligated to meet inflexible deadlines.



Associates degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred and a minimum of two years experience in the customer service industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Election experience preferred Willing to work overtime as necessary.Travel required up to 70%Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
