Electronic Support Representative

The Electronic Support Representative must have a relentless customer focus and experience in providing Internet solutions and delivering efficient first rate customer service via phone and email. Responsibilities include answering all inbound customer inquiries with respect to (but not limited to) general information, site navigation, order submission, returns, technical questions and issue resolution. The Representative should also have a positive attitude and understand that the customer is always right.  He/she will maintain the highest degree of professionalism and courtesy when situations become escalated, demanding or stressful.  This person should also be able to effectively track all customer service issues and report them to the appropriate departments for resolution.  Follow up is the key to success in this position. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAnswer phones and respond to customer requests. Place customer orders in computer system. Provide customers with product and service information. Up sell products and services. Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff. Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system. Follow-up on customer inquires not immediately resolved. Complete call logs and reports. Research billing issues. Research misapplied payments. Recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls. Recommend process improvements. Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

 - 1-2  years  of customer service and/or technical support experience

- High School Diploma

- Consummate team player

- Computer skills

- Excellent verbal and written skills

- A passion to satisfy customer needs

- Ability to handle escalations with a professional demeanor

- Must effectively cooperate with colleagues, supervisors and customers to promote a respectful work environment.

- Digital and/or film Photography experience a serious plus.

- General Technical knowledge including but not limited to, FTP, shopping carts, digital photography, and Photoshop
