Eligibility Consultant - Electronic

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-The individual will be responsible for Database management and processing electronic files received from clients; formatting, downloading to, and extracting electronic eligibility information from the Genelco system (the claims payment and eligibility system) and forwarding data to all appropriate outside vendors or insurance partners.
-Working with the Accounting & Sales/Service Departments to accomplish eligibility audit and reconciliation activities.
-Partnering with the Enrollment Systems Manager to ensure that each individual student?s eligibility record is fully processed, from receipt to ID card production for the assigned school.
-Processing assigned Enrollment Tasks.
-Running ad hoc reports as assigned by Enrollment Systems Manager, or as needed.
-Creating applications to streamline data exchange and to maintain existing programs.
-Maintaining and transacting unique client and reporting processes.
-Becoming an expert on all administrative and processing procedures regarding each assigned school.

-Visiting schools to educate and support enrollment/eligibility protocols and standards, as necessary.
-Backing-up schools and responsibilities of other Enrollment Database Analysts as directed by the Workflow Manager.
-Supporting the Voluntary Enrollment System reporting requirements via downloads to Genelco and billing maintenance.

SKILL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Two years experience using Access or SQL
-Bachelor's Degree
-Strong analytical skills
-Ability to work with deadlines
-Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
-Good written and oral communication skills
