Evening Dispatcher

A client located in Jacksonville, FL has an immediate position available for an Evening Dispatcher.

Purpose of Position: Responsible for dispatching of freight movement within the geographic region to ensure accurate and "real-time" data entry of dispatch events within the computer system. Manages fleet of
assigned owner operators and preferred agents to ensure optimum productivity and service levels while taking special care to ensure that the personal needs of the drivers are taken care of. Responsible for tactical changes to the plan when the owner operators or preferred agents cannot meet the customer appointment. Handles accessorial requirements for both billing the customer and settlements with the
owner operators.

Required Skills: Previous experience in the Transportation Industry required. Must be adept at working in a fast-paced customer service oriented environment. A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred

Shift: 8pm-5am with some weekend work required.

Pay Rate: $15-$17 per hour
