Field Service Scheduler – Back-up Scheduling and Operational Support

Job Description:

The Field Service Scheduler is responsible for responding to service requests from customers for pre-press support, within a specific geographic region. The scheduler is the first point of contact with the customer, once the request is received from Telephone Support. The Field Service Scheduler's primary duties include: coordinating Field Service resources to meet specific service guarantees determined by the customers' level of contracted service; scheduling Field Service activities as product installation and support requests are received; ensuring proper accounting and disposition of Field inventory within specific service zone; providing customers with consistent and timely information regarding ETA's of Field Service staff, and coordinating certified resellers to complete required product support.

Primary responsibilities are to provide back up scheduling for all Service zones. Additional responsibilities are to provide operational support for zones as required. Primary work schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however adjustments are necessary when providing back up scheduling to zones that operate from 9:00-6:00 and 11:00-8:00.

 

Job Requirements:

Associates or work equivalent Major:

2+ years in customer service

Preferred Experience:

Experience in a fast paced, scheduling or customer service position. Computer literate, with knowledge of MS Office packages (SAP a plus). Knowledge of pre-press industry and EXCELLENT interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

Emphasis on: Customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
