Due to unprecedented growth of our organization, we are opening a new phone center in Jacksonville, Florida!  This phone center will grow to include over 400 Financial Service and Financial Sales Representatives in the next several months.  You could be an integral part of this exciting effort and be one of our first managers hired.  Fidelity Personal Investments (FPI) provides a full range of investment products and services to individual mutual fund and brokerage customers. The group consists of two main businesses: direct mutual fund and brokerage sales and services, and Fidelity’s retirement rollover business. Services are offered via the Web, at nationwide Investor Centers, and over the telephone.


 


The Financial Manager acts as a key member of the department’s leadership team with primary focus on impacting team and functional results. This position is accountable for providing day to day management and coaching for a team of 15 Financial Service Representatives.


In this role your responsibilities will include:


? Providing effective coaching and feedback to representatives on all performance measures in a timely manner.


? Insuring adherence to compliance rules and regulations


? Being responsible for personnel issues such as hiring new staff, performance appraisals, compensation, scheduling and corrective action.


? Identifying employee development needs and support developmental activities for team members.


? Conducting staff meetings and briefings to ensure the team is responsive to policy and procedural changes, market conditions and team effectiveness. 


? Ability and willingness to take inbound phone calls during heavy volume periods, as required.


? Ability and willingness to work flexible and varied hours.


 



To be successful in this role we are looking for individuals who have: 


  College degree or equivalent work experience


? Industry designations or advanced degrees preferred


? NASD Series 63 & Series 7 Required


? Series 9 & 10  required within 90 days


? 5 years industry experience with 1-2 years of coaching/managerial experience


? Excellent risk management skills and a solid understanding of call volume management procedures


? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


? Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
