Financial Services - Customer Service

A large Mutual Funds company in the DTC is looking to fill several Customer Service Specialist positions.  These are full ? time permanent opportunities with excellent advancement opportunities.  The company will also pay for Series 6 licensure.

 Primary Responsibilities:

?  Maintain Excel spreadsheet with all customer Take phone orders from customers & suggest promotions or up-sells

?  Receive and invoice orders

?  Review incoming orders to ensure they are accurate and meet minimum requirements

?  Answer phone inquiries regarding pricing, discounts and current promotions

?  Check on status of accounts

?  Assist customers with account questions and concerns

?  Create monthly sales reports from the sales orders Excel spread sheet

 

Skills Required:

?  1 ? 2 years strong customer service and telephone skills necessary

?  Financial services experience a plus

?  Ability to make effective sales presentations over the phone

?  Excellent knowledge of maintenance products

?  Ability to efficiently prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced atmosphere

?  Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, spelling proficiency

?  Communicate and interact effectively with colleagues/management to achieve company goals

?  Ability to accept constructive criticism and offer feedback

?  Demonstrate initiative and good judgment in problem solving

?  Maintain positive and supportive attitude while being a team player

?  Data entry, 10 key, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Lotus Notes

?
