Fraud Prevention Systems Analyst

Works at the direction of the Customer Direct Loss Prevention Manager/Analyst in identifying, collecting, analyzing and reporting business data that exists within Customer Direct, credit issuers and processors, Loss Prevention and with outside vendors. Manages the formatting of the available data to facilitate its use by the Customer Direct businesses in preventing fraud, prioritizing projects, assigning resource, identifying transaction trends, reducing operating costs, driving tasks of Fraud Prevention associates and promoting and facilitating customer use of the Customer Direct channels.

Qualifications
At the direction of the Customer Direct Loss Prevention Manager/Analyst, identifies data sources for the mapping of the data pursuant to its use in business analysis.

Retrieves and harvests sources of data from multiple databases, reports and systems. Data recovery to include extensive data evaluation and manual entry.

Queries data and creates reports, both standardized and ad hoc, to assist the business in fraud prevention, operating expense reduction, and prioritization of Customer Direct projects.

Analyzes fraud and other charge back data and provides Loss Prevention and the Customer Direct businesses with meaningful, actionable information, enabling the businesses to recognize trends and develop business strategies that optimize fraud/charge back expense in relation to revenue growth.


Works with the Customer Direct businesses to maintain balanced, stable computer system operations in a multiple platform environment.

Monitors system resource consumption and projects/models/future resource requirements.

Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Supports Loss Prevention with investigations requiring data residing within the systems and business applications referred to in the "Competencies" section
