Global Assignment Associate

Job Description: Position Summary: The Global Assignment Associate supports one or more Global Assignment Consultant. The Global Assignment Associate is responsible for:
Administrative duties
Communication with SIRVA's suppliers
Quality assurance of reports submitted by suppliers
Minimal contact with clients and relocating employees, but extensive contact with service providers and internal resources. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

1. 40(%) Open files, research/select/place orders/referrals with suppliers. Pro-active management of and communications to suppliers for, and system documentation of required information.

2. 25(%) System documentation of client and vendor data including payment instructions, fee schedules and services offered. System documentation of country specific information. Review/system documentation needs analysis, destination/settling assistance, household goods forwarding.

3. 20(%) Audit expense forms, calculate currency conversations, and code for processing. Audit supplier invoices and manage internal paperwork across department. Obtain data necessary to complete cost estimates.

4. 10(%) Answer phones, provide back-up, manage daily mail and email requests and other correspondence.

 5. 5(%) Other responsibilities as necessary to support Global Assignment Consultant, client, and customer demands.

Job Requirements:


Qualifications
Previous international or inter-cultural experience.
Secondary language skills.
College degree preferred.
Minimum one year direct relocation experience, or three years related customer service experience.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be organized, able to function as part of a team, a self-starter, and quality focused.
Must be able to manage deadlines and multi-task in a face paced office environment.
Must possess business etiquette and professional phone skills.
Computer skills - Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and job related systems.
Must be able to learn global assignment management processes and the related relocation services worldwide.
