AdSense Coordinator, Custom Channels - Mountain View

This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

The Custom Channels team member's primary role is to be an expert on the AdSense network and publisher base. You will support the AdWords sales force in creating custom sites targeting solutions for advertisers.

Google has an immediate need for an energetic team player to help us represent the worldwide AdSense publisher base and their product needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Google and a commitment to providing publishers with the best possible experience, as well as a passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.

Responsibilities:Create custom targeted site channels with supporting collateral to match advertiser campaign goals and objectives.
Become an expert in a specific vertical in order to successfully match specific industry and customer needs to advertising solutions with a high probability of implementation.
Proactively support an AdWords vertical team, acting as a point person and preparing proactive site targeting plans for advertisers within the vertical.
Act as a liaison and the linking unit between the AdSense and AdWords teams.
Serve as a consultant and strategist on the AdSense network opportunity.
Work on various projects related to the AdSense & AdWords relationship and ad products.
Requirements:BA/BS degree from top tier school.
1-3 years experience in the advertising industry, media planning or a creative agency.
Online media experience is a plus.
Industry expertise in a specific vertical is a plus.
Exceptional written & verbal communication skills, including high level of proficiency with PowerPoint presentations.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience working directly and successfully with customers.
Creative problem-solving and analysis skills.
Ability to work and be flexible in a high pressure, evolving environment.
Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into media strategies.
Solid understanding of general advertising and direct marketing performance metrics.
