The Human Resource Payroll (HRP) Change Order Management (COM) Implementation Analyst position is within Fidelity’s Human Resources Services Company (FHRS). FHRS provides benefits outsourcing services to Fortune 500 companies within the Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo). The benefits outsourcing business encompasses Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Health & Insurance, Talent Management and Human Resources/Payroll administration & services.
The HRP COM Implementation Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and documenting requirements and assessing impact to HR/Payroll and Talent Management processes for existing clients.The HRP COM analyst must be able to facilitate, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and projects for HR/Payroll and Talent Management purposes plus other product lines as needed for the FHRS organization. The incumbent will need to manage work and interact with resources, in a matrix environment across multiple locations, in order to complete projects and work sucessfully. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Under minimal supervision, serve as a requirements implementation analyst in the HR/Payroll and Talent Management realm for small to medium scope projects for client enhancements and fee-for-service work. Work with internal and external clients to gather requirements and analyze information related to enhancements and change controls.Document requirements clearly for development and testing purposes.Identify opportunities to provide and recommend value-added solutions for the client. Execute well-defined project tasks.Identify and resolve requirements interdependencies, both internal and external.Provide insight and input on project plan management and monitor progress against plan when applicable. Manage aspects of the Project Life Cycle deliverables related to the Requirements phases for change controls and fee-for-service enhancements. Manage issue resolution process. Analyze and document current workflows and identify and recommend process and system improvements.Provide best-practice data and process solutions to client.Provide insight and input on data and process implications that may result from changes to business processes, enhancement requests, and change controls.
Strong analytical and facilitation skills.Strong judgment and project consulting skills.Strong process improvement focus.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong experience and/or solid knowledge of HR/Payroll systems, policies, and processes including General Ledger and Timekeeping experience.Strong experience and/or solid knowledge of Talent Management systems, policies, and processes are a plus. Experience with the implementation and maintenance of HR/Payroll and Talent Management systems.Experience with the Oracle HRMS and web-enabling technologies used to address HR and Payroll data processing needs is a plus.Experience with SQL, Unix, MS Access, and relational databases is a plus.External client consulting experience.Proven ability to clearly define client requirements, and deliver solutions that meet both client and internal expectations.Ability to maintain good working relationships with external end users, internal systems management, support staff, and third party vendors.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with related desktop software tools.Ability to develop/mentor team members as needed.Related work experience, undergraduate and/or graduate degree(s).
