ICAN Drop Ship Specialist, Vernon Hills IL

Purpose of the Position:   Provide assistance to our internal customers regarding problems or situations that arise with configuration center orders.  By continuously providing top-level service, ICAN drop ship specialist is essential in creating customer loyalty and repeat business.

 

 

Essential Functions:

? Receiving and resolving incoming calls and e-mails from account managers regarding:

o  Requests for ETA?s

o  Requests for a lead time

o  Status of an open PO

o  Status of an open drop ship orders

o  Track shipped items

o  All other issues that pertain to Customer Service

 

Additional Responsibilities:

? Handling escalated issues when necessary

? Working with the team to manage daily workflow so that all inquiries are responded to by close of business

? Evaluate current processes and work on recommendations with management

 



Qualifications: 

? Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  College education a plus but not required

? Previous direct customer contact including problem resolution or related experience

? Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain professional communication with customers in pressured situations

? Good typing and data entry skills

? Good organizational skills

? Ability to multi-task in order to handle multiple duties throughout the day

? Ability to work in a fast paced environment- this department requires timely resolutions, as customer issues must be resolved quickly and efficiently

? Basic computer product knowledge helpful but not required

? Must possess creative problem solving skills and take responsibility to resolve customer situation

? Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

? Must be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers and coworkers 

? Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
