The successful candidate will enjoy working with the public, and have demonstrated customer satisfaction skills that also include the ability to multi-task and deal with what sometimes can be complex subject matters.  We are looking for self-starters who, as a team, will collectively serve as the ?voice of NYCERS? to our membership base.  NYCERS has state-of-the-art Call Center programs and equipment.  On-the-job and other training and coaching is continuously offered in order to help you achieve, maintain and possibly exceed specific production and performance standards associated with member and agency interactions.  This position is vital to the success of the agency and is really a unique opportunity for the candidate who has previous Call Center or customer services experience and truly enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with the public.  Many of our part time staff have had full time career opportunities within NYCERS.

Minimum Requirements

1. An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college, including 9 semester credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting and/or actuarial science and two years of satisfactory full-time experience performing mathematical, statistical, actuarial or accounting computations;

or

2. A high school diploma and four years of experience as described above. Human Resources
