INSIDE SALES REP.

 

Duties:  Under general supervision, is responsible for receipt of orders from customers, sales representatives and other internal departments.  Utilize telephone sales skills to create a professional image while handling inquiries, follow-up, messages, and documenting all activity in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

? Communicate effectively and efficiently using phone and computer skills.

? Maximize phone skills to present a professional image.

? Utilize selling skills to up-sell customer orders.

? Use phone, fax, and mail; receive and process customer orders accurately.

? Expedite shipment when appropriate, (e.g. specials requested by a customer)

? Respond properly/timely to customer inquiries relating to product stock checks, back-order follow-up, pricing, etc.

? Work to resolve or refer customer complaints.

? Suggest possible substitutes on out-of-stock items.

? Support other departments when needed.

? Other duties as assigned.

 

Work

Qualifications:  Excellent data entry, written/verbal communication skills required.  Working knowledge of Louis and Company order processing system and woodworking industry preferred.  Bilingual desirable.

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
