We are looking for an International Customer Service Representative to  support the Company objective of excellent service to customers by insuring that all related processes (quotations, orders, returns, credits, general inquires) are performed in accordance with Company policy, procedures and standards.  This position will support international distributor network, as well as international direct customers.  Responsible for insuring compliance to U.S.A. export regulations, as well as importing regulations. 

 

This position will process international direct and distributor orders, insuring accuracy of input and completeness of data as well as provide customer with an acknowledgement confirming order information and scheduled ship date.  Will coordinate set up of new accounts when necessary, review potential new customers against qualifying criteria, and work with International Sales to establish new distributor accounts.  Prepare necessary export documentation and understand export regulations associated with shipment to each country. You will insure compliance to documentation requirements.  Will coordinate shipment details with warehouse group, payment issues with accounting group and, product availability/allocation issues directly the manufacturing group.  Will be required to understand the product sufficiently to facilitate customer questions and accurate order processing as well as provide information to customers on pricing, availability, product selection and services. You will be required to prepare any required correspondence to customers in a professional and appropriate manner.

 

Prepare quotations for all Rainin?s international distributor & direct customers, assuming responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of data.  Respond to inquiries from prospective distributors and review potential leads with Sales.  Provide back up to domestic quote function when necessary. 

 

Responsible for answering phones in a manner consistent with company standards and handle customer inquiries in ?one call? eliminating call backs whenever possible.  Present a courteous and professional Answers phones in a manner consistent with company standards.

phone image; using appropriate phone etiquette while handling caller.  Responsible for providing accurate and reliable responses to customer inquiries; obtaining for customer all necessary information and instructions.  May be required to participate in reception relief rotation.

 

This position requires excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of order processing systems (Oracle preferred), Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.

 

Education and/or experience:  Bachelor?s degree (B.S./B.A.) plus 3 years related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
