Job Description

CompuCredit, a fast-growing competitor in the Financial Services industry and ranked #1 by the AJC in 2005 for Georgia?s Top-Performing Companies, has an immediate opening for an experienced Instructional Designer in our Atlanta, GA corporate office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interview and collect data from developers, trainers, and subject-matter experts.
Conduct needs assessments and design courses for all levels within CompuCredit.
Partner with subject matter experts to analyze information and develop content.
Design, implement, and evaluate new and existing instructional materials.
Leads the instructional design update efforts of our current learning solutions through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum design for our associates and customers to meet our business needs.
Work collaboratively with the Training and Documentation team to produce new outcome-based training materials, including Power point presentations, policy and procedure manuals, training manuals, course agendas, overall training modules, etc. Materials should include: Materials should include: practice exercises, examples, scenarios, simulation, graphics and process flows, and assessments.
Follows up on effectiveness of programs to review appropriateness of materials.
Manage project timelines and deadlines.
Adhere to existing company vision and guidelines.
Future development and production of e-modules may be incorporated in departmental growth plans

Skill Requirements:

3+ years experience in adult education theory and practice, instructional design and development, multimedia development, graphic illustration, and technical communication.
Previous experience with the development of performance and outcome-based materials that are audience-appropriate.
Bachelor?s degree in instructional design, education, communication, or technical writing.
Excellent communication, writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project priorities.
Strong follow up skills and attention to detail.
Quick learner.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Self-motivated; takes imitative to get things done.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Training Department.
Previously demonstrated Instructional Design experience in the following areas: Customer Service skills, Sales skills, Motivation, Time management, Management development, Presentation skills, Interpersonal skills, Decision making skills, and System training.
