International Customer Service Specialist

Scientific Atlanta is applying a half-century of innovations to today's convergence of the PC and the TV and helping to extend multimedia broadband applications to new platforms via interactive broadband networks, set-tops and cable modems.  We are currently seeking an International Customer Service Specialist at our Lawrenceville, GA location.

 

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

This position is the primary Customer interface in the handling of international customer inquiries, order entry, backlog management, repair requests and product order status. The Customer Specialist will provide support to an assigned group of customers, both internal and external, as well as provide back-up support for team assignments. Problem-solving skills are required for resolution of a wide range of non-technical issues of moderate scope and complexity, including resolving pricing issues, invoice discrepancies, delivery issues, and responding to order inquiries. In addition to purchase order review and entry, the Customer Specialist will also be responsible for handling other transactions such as debits, credits, in- warranty exchanges and repair authorizations. This position requires a general knowledge of department concepts, practices and techniques. Candidate should also have experience in preparing export documentation and dealing with freight forwarders.


Minimum Requirements:5 years minimum International Customer Service and export coordinationBachelor?s degree or equivalent of five additional years of experience

Required Skills:Customer service, problem solving skills, reliability, time management skills, detail orientedMicrosoft Office software

 

Preferred Experience:SAPCustomer Service experience in manufacturing environmentBilingual ? English / Spanish, letters of credit
