International Student Services Coordinator - Berkeley
Description:
The Student Service Coordinator will assist the International Program Director in the efficient delivery of international programs within a Kaplan Test Prep center.
This includes but is not limited to:
- coordinating housing (both residential and home stay) and airport transfers for international students which include working with a variety of housing and transportation vendors.
- coordinating monthly student activities following budgetary guidelines and client demands
- coordinating international bookings and enrolling students locally
- participating in local marketing activities, seminars, workshops, and direct mail campaigns to increase sales for the international program
- conducting orientations for new international students
-counseling students on housing issues and inquiries
-assist director in finding additional housing vendors and options.

- Strong organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, challenging environment
- Knowledge of foreign languages a plus
- Strong familarity with the local community, area, and geography
- Interest in a wide variety of activites, including sports, outdoor recreation, the arts
- Understanding and sensitivity of cultural differences and language barriers
- Must be highly organized, energetic and motivated
