Intervention Specialist

Become part of Doral Dental, a leading Medicaid dental administrator, serving over seven million members in 17 states.  Doral Dental is headquartered in Mequon, WI and is a division of Boston-based DentaQuest Ventures.  We are currently looking to add two INTERVENTION SPECIALISTS to our team to work on-site at DQV, located in Boston, Massachusetts.

The right individuals will have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good PC skills, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks, and the ability to remain organized with multiple interruptions.  Successful candidates will also be able to work autonomously and exhibit excellent judgment.

Intervention Specialists are primarily responsible for responding to complex Dental Provider and Member requests for assistance with obtaining or delivering Dental Covered Services.  Responsibilties include:

? Working with Dental Providers for Members who require education.

? Assisting Members by initiating transportation requests.

? Following-up with Members and Dental Providers to ensure appointment and distance standards are met. 

? Reporting any issues relating to policy, benefits, or processes in the course of outreach and ongoing activities for which EOHHS could provide clarification, and provide recommendations to EOHHS on such issues.

? Reporting any barriers identified by Members beyond EOHHS?s control that present barriers to Members (e.g., child care issues, inflexibility at a place of employment, etc.) or that present difficulty in tracking or reaching Members.

? Assisting Members in need of transitioning from one Dental Provider to another.

? Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with Plan contacts.

 

A college degree or relevant experience is required.
