Inventory Specialist

Primary responsibility is to set up used and new car inventory and images for AutoTrader.com dealer subscription contracts.

 

 

Performance Objectives

 

? Customer Service:  Work cooperatively and jointly with all ATC departments to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. This also includes the ability to work as a team and build high morale and commitments to team goals, and display positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed.

 

? Contract Fulfillment:  Manage dealer contracts through the inventory process, including working with third party source vendors to perform initial inventory and image set up for dealers.

 

? Continuous Improvement:  Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes; focus on creativity to define new solutions.

 

? Decision Making:  Able to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and realistic understanding of issues. Ability to use good reason, even when dealing with ambiguity. Use troubleshooting processes to effectively arrive at decisions.

 

? Product Knowledge:  Requires in-depth product knowledge in order to fulfill contract properly.  During contract fulfillment, Inventory Specialist may need to explain product bundles to customers.

 

? Communication:  Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, interacting with fellow staff members, management, sales, vendors, and ATC customers.

 

? Work Across Teams:  Establish and maintain credibility and rapport in working with Dealer Operations, Dealer Support, Sales, and other internal teams as applicable.

 

? Internal Application Systems:  The ability to train dealer and other appropriate customers on use of internal application systems.

 

? Change Management:  The Inventory Specialist will be flexible and able to adjust to change. This includes changes in organization, duties, and responsibilities. Additional responsibilities may be delegated to the Inventory Specialist in order to assist the department and company to meet stated objectives.

 

Qualifications

 

? Bachelor?s degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years customer service experience

 

? Proficient with desktop applications such as MS Office (Word or Excel) and Operating system such as Windows XP environment

 

? Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and manage time effectively to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

 

? Requires attention to detail and focus on quality in delivering results.

 

? Ability to adapt to change and acquire new application user skills.

 

? Knowledge of automotive industry is preferred

 

? Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems a plus

 

? Bi-Lingual is a plus
