LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Lead Integration Software Engineer role is a demanding, highly dynamic, and technically challenging position. He/She will function in a multi-faceted role that offers the opportunity for career growth, intellectual stimulation, and creative problem solving. Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of multiple interfaces including integration with Siebel, Oracle Financials, Custom Applications and others.

Specific Responsibilities include:
Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain data interfaces
Work with Users, Business Analysts, Project Managers to collect integration requirements and translate them into technical design and a solid solution meeting user needs and required service levels.
Develop detailed estimates for projects, make technical decisions to meet the design goals laid out in product road map and by management.
Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management.
Provide appropriate quality assurance and implementation support
Participate in system integration architecture planning and strategy, including system coding and quality standards.
Optimize, tune and support existing production interfaces, including providing excellent customer service and proactive problem solving to the users and other stakeholders.




QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must be highly proficient in system integration and application development in .NET, Java and/or equivalent technologies
RDBMS programming experience and strong backend database skills in SQL Server and/or Oracle DB.
Background in application development process and tools including Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and Erwin
Excellent design, analytical and communication skills
Experience with system integration tools such as IBM WebSphere

Ability to adapt to changing tools and technologies as well as changing business needs
Must be experienced in all stages of the application development life cycle: Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Construction, and Implementation.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills with demonstrated experience documenting and working through issues as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with, and support the needs of, project team members and user departments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid interpersonal skills.
Solid team leadership skills including mentoring and matrix organization management.

EDUCATION
Education and Certification
Required Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
