MEDICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Medmark Inc. a growing Specialty Pharmacy located in Carnegie, PA, is looking for GREAT PEOPLE to join our TEAM of Patient Care Coordinators (PCC).

 

Coordinators are responsible for providing excellent customer care to our patients and physician offices.  Via telephone PCC takes inbound calls to answer patient and doctor calls regarding prescription schedule, delivery and concerns.

 

Coordinators maintain a caseload of patients and coordinates care by scheduling prescription orders, making outbound calls to patient to determine compliance with medication, scheduling refills and coordinating delivery to patient home or physician office.

 

Coordinators receive extensive training on medications utilized to treat patient disease states and conditions such as, Multiple Sclorsis, HIV, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Cancer, immune deficiency, growth hormone disorders, Parkinson's disease, organ transplant, infertility, RSV and chronic pain.


We are looking for recent graduates who have obtained an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health science or natural science related field -- psychology, biology, chemistry, medical assistant, health care management, pharmacy technican, health sciences or similiar.  Excellent pc skills required -- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

Must enjoy working in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented, and posses strong customer service skills.
