Mail Room Technician

The MRT I reports directly to the Mail Room Supervisor.  The MRT I will process incoming and outgoing mail in a timely fashion.

 

Requirements:

The MRT I must have a keen sense of detail and orderliness.  The MRT I is responsible for the review; flow and filing of a large volume of incoming mail.  The MRT I must  possess the ability to do moderate lifting and have an efficiency for alpha numeric and chronological filing.  Reliable transportation is required for the collection and delivery of mail.  A keen sense of detail, high level of accuracy and an excellent attendance record are a must.

 

Job Responsibilities:

?  Sorting and opening incoming mail

?  Highlighting and distribution of mail

?  Log and distribution of overnight and ground deliveries

?  Collect, sort, and deliver faxes

?  Maintain fax machines

?  Filing

?  Assist with special projects as requested

?  Load and unload dishwasher, put away dishes

?  Move and setup office furniture

?  Perform other duties as assigned by Management

 

Skills:

?  Alpha Numeric and Chronological Filing 

?  Some computer experience 

? Attention to detail

?    Understands and can work within deadlines? Orderliness and thoroughness in work skills
